looks like we've become breeders!?

So here is the big news (we shared this with everyone 30 June 2009) and a place for on-going updates for those of you who don't happen to live in our little Prague apartment: Dr. Veronika Benson, Ph.D and Ing. Arch. Cory Wade Benson, AIA , LEED AP (they are big on titles here; from now on we'll stick with Verča and Cory, respectively) seem to have conceived an offspring on the week-end of our Paris-Roubaix & Ronde der Vlaanderen trip this past April.

For anyone obsessed with checking up (like say my parents), the official pregnancy timing can be kept up to date as things progress. The basis first day is 27 March 2009.

This yields for us an anticipated arrival date for the smallczech of 01 January 2010.

That's right New Year's Day.
01.01.10

The doctors and hospital have already made jokes about getting to be the first birth of the year. So it will likely be an interesting New Year's.

So now that you know the news, we can start back a bit.
Not wanting to get ahead of ourselves, we've been keeping our cards close to our chest until the smallczech and Verča made it out of the first 12 weeks/1st trimester healthy.
Now that we are there, read on to get caught up.
